If you use the opportunity to take part in competitions on this website, the information you provide (such as first name, surname, date of birth, address, e-mail address, telephone number and details of the region) will be stored so that we can ensure your participation (prize determination, notification and sending of the prize) in the competition.
After the end of the competition and the announcement of the winners, the participants’ data will be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to retain the data.

SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests you send to us as the site operator.
You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Your rights to information, rectification, blocking, erasure and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time.
You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked or, apart from the prescribed data storage for business transactions, deleted.
Please contact our data protection officer for this purpose.
You can find the contact details above under Questions to the data protection officer.

To ensure that data can be blocked at any time, this data must be kept in a lock file for control purposes.
You can also request the deletion of the data if there is no legal archiving obligation.
If such an obligation exists, we will block your data on request.

You can make changes or withdraw your consent with effect for the future by notifying us accordingly.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent.
You can withdraw your consent at any time.
All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail.
The legality of the data processing carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format.
If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of data protection law, the data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
The competent supervisory authority for data protection issues is the state data protection officer of the federal state in which our company is based.
A list of data protection officers and their contact details can be found at the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Data protection provisions Application procedure

If you apply to us, whether for an advertised position or on your own initiative, we will process your data to carry out the selection process.
It is irrelevant to us whether you apply by post, by e-mail or, if available for the respective position, by online form.

As a matter of principle, we only process the data that you yourself have transmitted to us as part of an application procedure.
Other sources may be consulted after informing and consulting with you.
For example, whether we may contact a former employer.

The legal basis for the implementation of an application procedure is §26 BDSG in conjunction with Art. 6 para.
1 lit.
b GDPR (initiation of an employment contract).
Insofar as you give us your consent to store your data for a longer period of time, this is done on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit.
a GDPR.

Deletion periods for applicant data

We delete applicant data a maximum of 6 months after the end of the application process (once a candidate has been selected and all applicants have been informed of the outcome).
The purpose of the data processing is generally no longer given with the end of the selection process, but we have a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) in being able to defend ourselves against any claims by rejected applicants.
If you have the impression that your interests in an immediate deletion outweigh our interests, you have the possibility to request us to do so.
We will then examine your request and provide you with feedback.

After expiry of the above-mentioned period, your data will be deleted, unless we have to defend ourselves, for example in ongoing proceedings, for example due to a complaint under the General Equal Treatment Act.
In this case, we will delete your data once the proceedings have been concluded, provided there are no statutory retention periods.

If we are allowed to store your data for a longer period of time on the basis of your consent, we will delete your data if you request us to do so and revoke your consent.
If necessary, we will also delete your data before you withdraw your consent if it is foreseeable that no position will be available.

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy from time to time so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services.
The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
